Atlantic City Convention Center is a premier exhibition and convention facility located in Atlantic City, New Jersey, that opened on May 1, 1997. The center was developed as part of the city's gateway redevelopment project and has become one of the East Coast's largest convention centers, occupying nearly 31 acres and offering 500,000 contiguous square feet of exhibition space. The facility features five spacious exhibit halls ranging in size from 29,400 square feet to 199,500 square feet, all located on the building's second level. The center also includes 45 flexible meeting rooms with a total of 109,000 square feet of meeting space, ranging from 672 square feet to 11,880 square feet, plus 32,000 square feet of pre-function space. The venue hosts more than 500,000 visitors annually and serves a wide range of industries including trade shows, conventions, conferences, banquets, sporting events, and public exhibitions. Key facilities include a 1,400-space parking garage, four drive-in doors, mechanical elevators, and state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities with soundproof panels and assisted listening systems. The center is strategically positioned within a few hours' drive of nearly one-third of the nation's population and 20 percent of the country's business addresses, making it highly accessible for attendees. It is directly connected to the Atlantic City Rail Terminal with NJ Transit service from Philadelphia, and features a pedestrian bridge linking to the adjacent Sheraton Hotel. The facility has achieved LEED Gold certification and GBAC STAR accreditation, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability and health safety standards. The building's design incorporates Atlantic City's seaside location with wave-inspired architectural elements and sea-themed artwork throughout the facility.
