About Tibet Exhibition Center
Tibet Exhibition Center is a major exhibition venue in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, located at No. 17 Norbulingka Road. The center was originally established as the Tibet Revolutionary Exhibition Hall in 1965, proposed by Vice Premier Chen Yi. In 1994, due to the renovation of Potala Palace Square, the original building was demolished and relocated to its current location. In August 1996, it was renamed 'Tibet Exhibition Center'. The center has participated in major exhibitions including the '50th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China Achievement Exhibition' and the 'National Rural Women Double Learning and Double Comparison Activity Ten-Year Achievement Exhibition'. The center is affiliated with the Tibet Autonomous Region Department of Culture.
