About Ministry of Economic Development & Trade / Business Centre Corporation (BCC)
The Ministry of Economic Development & Trade is a Maldives government ministry. The Business Centre Corporation (BCC), formed in 2017 under a presidential decree, is the State-Owned Enterprise for SME projects under the Ministry's supervision. BCC supports SME development through trade facilitation, access to finance, financial literacy, consultation and advisory services. Operates Authentic Maldives for local artisan products with over 100 suppliers and 5,000 products.
