CFAA

CFAA, the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association, is the only registered nationwide food additives and ingredients industry organization approved by the Chinese government, established in 1993 and headquartered in Beijing. The association serves as a non-profit membership body representing over 1,000 domestic member organizations and approximately 100 overseas group members engaged in the production, application, and marketing of food additives and ingredients. CFAA organizes two major professional exhibitions every year: the Food Ingredients China (FIC) fair held in spring at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai — the largest and most authoritative international trade fair for food additives and ingredients in Asia — and the China National Food Additives and Ingredients Show held in autumn. These exhibitions attract over 1,400 exhibitors and tens of thousands of professional visitors from domestic and overseas markets annually. CFAA also assists the government in formulating regulations, setting industry standards, and supervising product quality in the food additives sector. The association publishes the China Food Additives Journal, the only state-level professional journal in the field.
