IA HORIZONS

IA HORIZONS is an unprecedented event - the First Artificial Intelligence Film Festival, which will revolutionize the audiovisual scene and position Uruguay as a global reference in the convergence between art, technology and creativity. The festival presents itself as a space for exhibition, training and reflection on new narratives created with artificial intelligence tools like Runway ML, Sora (OpenAI), Pika Labs, Kaiber, LeiaPix, Descript and ElevenLabs. The event will bring together technological leaders, artists, researchers and entrepreneurs from America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East to debate the impact of AI on audiovisual creation and culture. The festival accepts short and medium-length films between 5 and 20 minutes or more, made partially or totally with AI tools, democratizing access to high-quality audiovisual creation. With support from the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism, Municipality of Maldonado, and declaration of interest from the Departmental Board of Maldonado, IA HORIZONS aims to position Uruguay as a pioneer in the intersection between art, technology, tourism and culture.
