Habitare

Habitare is the leading furniture, design, and interior design event in the Nordic countries, held annually at the Helsinki Exhibition Centre. The 2026 theme, Plot Twists, invites attendees to embrace the unpredictability of life and time and find inspiration within it. Every turn, surprise, and change of direction can open up a new perspective, a new chapter, or an entirely new story. The fair offers a platform for the latest trends and innovations in the industry, featuring contemporary designs, classic furniture, unique vintage pieces, and artworks. It serves as a showcase for new designers and talents, complemented by Habitarematerials, an interactive material library. Beyond its role as a trade fair, Habitare stands as a cultural event for design enthusiasts, enriched by keynote speeches and discussions. Highlights include the Habitare Design Competition and special exhibitions showcasing innovative and sustainable design solutions. In 2025, the fair welcomed 43,000 visitors over five days.
