Nugget Casino Resort has been an iconic destination in the Reno-Sparks, Nevada area for more than 60 years, originally opening as Dick Graves' Nugget on March 17, 1955. The resort features a full-service casino with 1,380 guest rooms and suites situated in two 28-story guest towers, offering 110,000 square feet of meeting and special event space. The venue serves as a premier convention and exhibition destination with 28 meeting rooms accommodating up to 3,500 people, 90,000 square feet of exhibit space, and the largest meeting room capacity of 3,600 people. The facility includes the Cascade Ballroom, Nugget Event Center with seating for 8,500 guests, and the Celebrity Showroom accommodating 780 people. The resort hosts major events including the annual Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off, Star-Spangled Sparks celebration, and various corporate meetings, trade shows, and conventions. Industries served include gaming, hospitality, corporate events, entertainment, and community gatherings. Key facilities include five restaurants, a year-round atrium pool, fitness center, three live entertainment venues, and comprehensive meeting support services. Currently operated by Century Casinos, the resort completed a major $90 million renovation in 2019.
